Adam and Kristin got married in a small but crazy wedding on Adam’s brother’s lush family land. The whole property was adorned with the thousands of rocks, minerals, geodes, and other various finds from years of searching riverbeds and streams. It poured solid sheets of rain for hours before ceremony and I remember saying “It’s ok, guys. It’ll be messy, but the clouds will part and the sun will come out right as Kristin is getting ready to walk out.” Mariah and I have this funny thing where regardless of what the weather is supposed to be, we always just say “It’s ok… it won’t be raining… now stop saying the word rain.” So far, it has worked out without a hitch.
This wedding was 1 part ceremony, 9 parts party, and 100% awesome. Adam was actually the audio engineer for one of my band’s album, and we’ve worked together on a number of occasions. Naturally, he had several live bands play the reception, and there was plenty of dancing and singing going on. It was a very intimate ceremony and we were honored to be a part of Adam and Kristin’s wedding day.
